Tweetdeck vs. Hootsuite in a program death match! If you love twitter like I do, have numerous accounts to manage or just like knowing what’s being said about a particular subject on twitter, you should probably be familiar with Tweetdeck and/or Hootsuite. These programs simplify workflow and help with determining how your brand(s) or even your fave sports team are being talked about.

“Ding-ding,”—Let the match begin! Tweetdeck in the black trunks, Hootsuite in the white. Tweetdeck comes out strong: excellent tweet translation skills, in-program picture viewing and cache-clearing search options are tough to beat. What Hootsuite lacks in these departments, it makes up for with excellent user-friendly icons, tabbed column viewing, rss feed capabilities, preschedule of tweets/facebook statuses and workflow structure. Update all your fave social platforms in the same ui (user interface) with Hootsuite.

For me, the clear winner is Hootsuite. My multiple account management started in Tweetdeck, but I feel its more for users that have one or two account to manage. In Hootsuite, the ability to preschedule tweets/status updates alone is a lifesaver. Its an everything, but the kitchen sink type of product, which gets my 100% support. Now only if it really did the dishes.

Interesting…Why did you include a picture of TweetDeck that is around 6-8 months old?

Thanks for sharing this useful info. Keep in mind, HootSuite offers significant team collaboration tools including assignments and shared columns across groups including draft messages. You can also auto Tweet from RSS feeds and preview links within the app. Let us know is you have any questions plus keep on eye on the online Media Kit (http://blog.hootsuite.com/media) if you seek logos or screenshots for future articles.
